The Nuclear Materials Management and Safeguards System (NMMSS) annual users training event will be held September 20-23, 2021. The annual training is planned and organized jointly by the Department of Energy (DOE)/National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). NMMSS training is considered mission-critical, and there is no registration fee.

For safety and health considerations, this year's training event will be broadcast online. Invited speakers have the choice to either present from their workstations during the broadcast or provide pre-recorded videos for playback.

The NMMSS 2021 training marks the 25th anniversary of this annual event, which brings together a broad cross section of the domestic and international nuclear community. The key strategic objective is to provide the government and commercial nuclear industry representatives with relevant training, information, tools, and diverse perspectives that support professional development.

Please use the link provided to the left to register for the NMMSS 2021 Training.

If you have any questions about the training event, please contact Pete Dessaules (NMMSS Program Manager) at Pete. Dessaules@nnsa.doe.gov or Mirabelle Shoemaker (NRC) at Mirabelle.Shoemaker@nrc.gov. For any registration-related assistance, please contact Eric Monares at Eric.Monares@linksolutions.com.

Finally, the safety and health of participants is our number one priority. Our implementation plan remains flexible to accommodate any new developments.
